Details for a Direct Cremation with Surman & Horwood Funeral Services
Includes:
- Collection of the deceased from place of death (within 10 miles and in working Hours)
- Care of the deceased at our private chapel of rest prior to the cremation.
- Provision of a simple coffin.
- Ensuring all necessary documentation is obtained and delivered to the required authority.
- Date of cremation to be chosen by the funeral director/ crematorium.
- Family will be informed of the date prior to cremation.
- Transferring the deceased to a local crematorium in our private ambulance.
- Collection of the deceased’s ashes from the crematorium and made available for collection from one of our offices within a few days.
- This is a non-attended cremation with no service, vicar, or public attendance.
